Getting Started Steps
Follow these simple steps to get your project set up and filming!

Create Your Account
Go into the Topsheet Web App, follow the steps to create your account. With this account, you will be able to create your projects and companies, as well as get hired and paid on Topsheet productions. Follow this link for a more detailed guide on creating an account.

Create Your Project
Click the projects tab, then the "Create Project" button. From there, you will be able to fill out your production information, schedule your prep, shoot, and post dates, and get set up for Topsheet Payroll for your cast & crew as well as background actors. We work with both Non-union and Union productions, including SAG-AFTRA, IATSE, DGA, and Teamsters.

Invite Your Cast & Crew
When you have completed your project setup, click the Invite Crew button in the project page. From there, you will be able to invite your cast & crew with their position, department, rate, agency details, kit rentals, and even give permissions. Our system will email and message them their production details that they can sign and accept.

Schedule Your Cast & Crew
One-by-one, the entire production, or by department you can schedule your team extremley quickly for all shoot days, in a second unit schedule, or day by day. After scheduling your team, they will know their dates of work, see any updates, and have time cards ready on the days they work with you automatically distributed.

Approve Timecards
Cast & Crew can either fill out their own, or the production team who has permissions can fill it out for them one by one or in bulk. From location, day type, start, wrap, meals, adjustments, reimbursments, and even mileage can all be handled in Topsheet. With Topsheet, you can use our permissions that even allow best boys to fill out time cards for their department as well.

Approve Batches
After time cards are approved, whomever is on the production as been given final payroll permissions, they can review and pay the batch, paying your team fast and accuratley. Documents such as payroll expense reports, invoices, even exhibit G's are automatically made and stored in your production documents folder.
